Roger County
Host, Bridging the GapRoger County came to Hawai‘i in 1977 for summer vacation. Two months after his arrival, he started working at a small alternative elementary school called Hale Mohala, which, unbeknownst to him, kicked off his 40+ year career as an Early Childhood Educator—31 of those years were spent at The Early School in Mo‘ili‘ili. In 2008, Roger was accepted as a community member into the fold of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa's college radio station, KTUH. Today, you can also hear him Wednesday nights on HPR’s Bridging the Gap.
